Greg & Spencer both love to travel. In fact, it was their love for travel that brought them together in 2016 when Greg invited Spencer on a trip he was taking to learn to surf in Portugal. They returned a couple and have been traveling together ever since! They feel lucky to have set foot in number of amazing places together such as Hawaii, Alaska, Spain, Portugal, & Thailand.

After getting engaged in 2018, the universe had different plans for their wedding scheduled for May 2020. Pivoting quickly to an immediate family-only backyard wedding, Greg and Spencer started exploring Upstate NY together and fell in love with the area.

After using their ‘wedding fund’ to buy a home in the Finger Lakes, they decided to begin renting it out so others may enjoy the region as well. During this process, they realized there was an untapped travel market in the area and decided to build their business, Waves Edge - a throwback to the start of their relationship surfing together.
